Outrun is one of my favourite arcade game during my childhood b4 Daytona and others.
This is the game where it all started, when this game was around every kids knows an outrun car is a ferrari !!
The game was created by one of the kings of video game Mr. Yu Suzuki !!!
I am not going explain the facts n history here but i will talk about my times when i love this game.
I remembered at every amusement park in Malaysia will at least have 1 or 4 outrun arcades even outrunners also a big hit. I will always waste some quaters for playing this awesome racing game bcoz come on u cannot drive a real ferrari so drive a fake one with a girl beside u. Also who doesnt like a video game with some machine moving like a real car.
sadly it is hardly to find one machine here except in Penang n i am not sure if it is still around or not..
i just love everytime listening to Magical Sound Shower which gives an extra boost or love to the game.. anyway...
i cannot explain much about it but i am happy that Outrun has finally made it's 25th Anniversary !!
anyway Ferrari is stupid to pull their license for the Outrun series as they should know if it is not Outrun, Ferrari will never be on our mind !!
Since it is 25?? will there be a special edition or something?
